Megan Hanson

Coach Bio ▼

Megan Hanson has been actively involved with the TLC program since its inception in 2004.  She coached the 2013 and 2010 Red teams and currently coaches the 2019 Red team. Megan also currently coaches Bryn Mawr School Middle School Lacrosse and Field Hockey teams.  She previously coached the NBC Too 2009 team from 2003 to 2006, leading them to 5 championships.  Megan coached in the LTRC Lacrosse Program from 1998 to 2006, and led her A teams to MYLA ‘A’ Championships in 2004, 2005, and 2006.  In addition to her extensive lacrosse coaching experience, Megan coached Field Hockey in the Towsontowne program, leading her teams to Harvest Hockey ‘A’ Championships in 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005.

Megan started her athletic career at the Severn School, playing Varsity Lacrosse from 1974 to 1980 and Varsity Field Hockey from 1977 to 1979.  She received the C. Markland Kelly Award in 1980 and was honored in 2001 as an inductee to the Severn School Athletic Hall of Fame.  At Hollins College, Megan played Varsity Lacrosse from 1981 to 1983 and Varsity Field Hockey from 1980 to 1982.
